The structure of the thesis. The paper consists in three chapters, general conclusions and recommendations, bibliography (170 sources), key words, 27 annexes. There are inserted 14 figures and 30 tables within the text of the thesis. The obtained results are published in 15 scientific papers.
The domain of study: The evaluation of the teachers
The goal of the paper: consists in the theoretical, methodological and practical founding of the evaluation and the realization of a model of evaluation of the teachers in the pre university system of learning.
The objectives of the thesis: the establishment of the theoretical guide marks of the teachers’ in the pre university system of learning assessing; the settling of the evaluation components and the elaboration of the structural, procedural and process dimensions of the evaluation model; the settling of the evaluation stages; the experimental validation of the evaluation model and methodology; the elaboration of the conclusions and the practical recommendations.
The novelty and the originality consist of: the establishment of a system of principles and the elaboration of the adjustable evaluation model; the determination of the dimensions of the evaluation model: a) the structural one; b) the procedural dimension of the evaluation model; c) the process dimensions.
The theoretical significance: the demonstration of the complexity of the pre university system of learning teachers’ assessing phenomenon; it implies many factors used for its realization; the systematization of the principles which represent the basis of the adjustable assessing model; the establishing of the correlation among three important aspects of the assessing: the structural, the procedural and the process one and their inclusion in a logical system which put them in a right order and function; the demonstration of the fact that the proposed assessing model possesses multiple qualities of the models focused on professionalism, autonomy, the shared responsibility, the communication and the opening against evaluation and auto evaluation. The actual scientific problem of a major importance in the general pedagogy we managed is the creation of the adjustable model of evaluation of the teachers.
The applicative value is given by the adjustable model of assessing the teachers in the pre university system of learning. The triad structure – procedure – process, the evaluation methodology promoted by the research as well as its results can stand for the systematically issue of the pre university teachers’ evaluation in Romania and Moldavia Republic. The results and the recommendations as concern the evaluation of the teachers in the pre university system of learning can be used for the field of initial and continuous forming of the teachers, the practice of professional selection and the elaboration of the professional and institutional development strategies. The research results gain an up to date position due to the development of the perspectives within the national conception and the pre university teachers’ evaluation policies.
The implementation of the scientific results: the practical valorisation of the model of evaluation was realized through: the displaying of the evaluation model at the National College in Câmpulung Muscel; the elaboration and realization of the perfection programs for the teachers; the elaboration and application of the evaluation tools for teachers and pupils.
